Air Graver Quality Commitment

Every Engraving Tool with the Lindsay name is hand-made to exacting standards of craftsmanship, and every one represents the most advanced mechanical design in hand-engraving tools in the world today.

Every AirGraver made by Lindsay Engraving is hand fit and tuned by Steve Lindsay. In order for each tool to run on the slightest whisper of air pressure needed to produce some of the world's finest banknote engraving, the internal fits and finishes are essential. Only by taking the time to hand-fit, hone and hand polish each bore and piston is this quality possible. Bores and pistons are fit within .0002" (two ten thousands of an inch) to achieve the closest fit and least friction allowing the tools to oscillate at the low pressures of 0.05psi (1/20th of a pound of air). Special tools made and invented by Mr. Lindsay are used to make this fitting to these tolerances possible. External finishes of the tools are also taken to the highest standards and are hand engraved with the Lindsay name and individual serial number.

Whether the AirGravers will be used for hand-engraving, stone setting, wood carving or stone carving, we believe strongly that every hand engraving tool you purchase from us should be absolutely reliable and capable of enhancing your work.

Nowhere else will you find a precision hand impact tool made as precisely and beautifully.
